A Membership Plugin For WordPress

If you like using WordPress,
then you’ll love the resource that I just came across:

Many people have tried to turn WordPress into a membership site but in the past it’s been quite tricky.

There are some fabulous plugins out there but you had to “tweak this” and “tweak that” and if you aren’t technical, it becomes very frustrating. That’s why I was very excited when I saw WishList Member. It’s a membership solution that was specifically built for WordPress.

The best part is, it has all the features you would want in a membership solution AND it is compatible with all of your other favorite plugins! So you get the best of both worlds :)  Plus, they’ve added some very cool features to make running and managing a membership site a whole lot easier.

Like I said, if you like using WordPress,
then you’ll love WishList Member.

Enjoy!

Your Business Champions

As you access your ability and mindset for starting your own business, make sure that you have a business champion to cheer you on. A business champion is someone who will support you as you develop your business. He or she will always have an encouraging word and will give you constructive criticism that will help you grow your business.

Examples of business champions would be people who you feel comfortable talking to about your dreams or hopes of starting your own business. Keep in mind that not everyone will understand your desire to start your own business and leave the 9 to 5 business world. Just make sure that you will be able to make a commitment to staying on task and on target.

Your business champion can also be someone who mentors you in a specific area, such as finance, marketing or business development. To help you choose a mentor, I’ve include a video below that featured Jack Canfield sharing keys points that you should keep in mind when selecting a mentor.

Having The Right Business Attitude

congrats-two-people2As you manage your business, having the right attitude is important. Having the right attitude can help you get through a difficult situation such as dealing with an upset client. A right attitude means that you keep negative thoughts, actions and speech away from you when dealing with difficult situations.

For example, if you have a virtual assistance business and one of your clients decides that he or she does not  like the work that you have preformed for him or her, what do you do? What will your attitude be in handling this difficult situation? Having a good attitude means that you don’t get upset and say something that you might regret. You should keep a level head and deal with this client from the standpoint that you are willing to work things through.
